When the body is stiff and achy, or when the mind is overrun with thoughts and ideas, this practice is to slow down. Feel your feet and support your body’s wisdom to both feel the power of grounding and opening to the tactile sensations of your hands and feet.

Slow asana/movements encourage you to stay close in to the body and low to the ground.

You’ll want padding for your knees (blanket/s) and a chair (or an ottoman ~ which I’m using in this practice) or alternatively 2 sturdy yoga blocks (or more) to build this practice from the ground up.

Perfect for a warm up to start your day, part of your wind down routine for better sleep or a midday (head space) break with 27 minutes of recorded audio only (give your eyes a break!) instruction (plus at the end is specific guidance for śavāsana to be completed on your own for as long as it feels good and you have additional time available).

Enjoy integrating the body and breath in this simple practice. When you’re out of your mind, it’s time to get back into your body!
